Suicide Notes
Since suicide in our society is not accepted, parting from friends or
family in person is not possible. Saying goodbye in such a manner is
likely to end in confrontation or even involuntary hospitalization.
A more common and realistic way for saying good bye is to write a
suicide note.
This involves many difficulties. The most troubling questions are whether and how to write the note.
There are also additional technical questions such as whether and what to write in a note to authorities. In some cases there is a problem of where to store and how to send the note. In addition one may want to post a note to ASH. Services like Time Cave and FutureMe allow you to send delayed email. Some services even let you cancel scheduled mails which haven't been sent yet.

One book which is frequently mentioned is Mark Etkind's "... Or Not To Be: A Collection of Suicide Notes", which contains many real suicide notes. The problem with such resources is that there is no way to know if the suicide notes have any merit for your particular goal in writing the note. In fact reading Etkind's book may be counterproductive.
