The following are links to various views accross the spectrum of the debate which contrasts the value of personal freedom and the value of life:

The Pro-Life Views page of About.com presents views about abortion, euthanasia and suicide. The pro-life view states that there are no circumstances which justify taking a life.
Euthanasia movements are in general against suicide, but wish to make an exception for the terminally ill.
More pro and anti euthanasia views can be found on ODP.

In contrast, ASH wishes to make the right to suicide the general rule rather than the exception.

Mental health net is a good resource for mental health. Of course, there are many others.
This entry in the ODP contains many links which view suicide mainly as a symptom for mental illness. Suicide is mostly related to depression.

alt.support.grief is a Usenet group which talks about grief, sometimes caused by suicide. There are also groups which talk specificially about grief from suicide.
